Waiting for updates is fine tbh, I just forget about things after a while and forget to catch up!! But I always manage eventually.......

oh man, do you not subscribe to fics on ao3?? their system of emailing me about fic updates has been a godsend. (with the unfortunate side effect of me having about 100 messages in my inbox of fics i just... havne't been in the mood.... to read......... from old fandoms an d stuff s I GH....)

and i just know some people prefer to read completed fic, so i try to warn people haha

I do subscribe to fics, but not very often!! Before I knew about subscribing I just bookmarked them on my phone, and checked them obsessively every night.... Also I tend to delete ao3 emails as soon as I get them :O

Ahhh yeah, I tend to not really have a preference. Thanks though! :)

ooh, gotcha! gmail shoves them all into the Social folder for me so they don't clutter my primary inbox, which is nice. and then i don't worry about deleting em and i can keep it until i've read it. but going through and binge reading when i'm in the mood tends to work better for me anyway, so i try to only subscribe when it's an author i rly rly like, or an ongoing fic i'll remember where it left off....

ahhhh yeah binge-reading is always fun!!! that way I can get really absorbed in a story!! :D I think I'm only subscribed to like... 3-4 authors? But I only really keep up with all of the works from one of them...
