i legit read someone say that they wrote something all in one go and it was like 30k. i wanted to ask them if they were still alive and breathing? what miracle was that?

if you total up all the writing ive ever written in my entire life i dont think it would be 30k.............

I actually just checked my AO3 word count and wow...I reached 53k.... (I forgot I wrote a lot in this one fandom a few years ago...) I would subtract to that considering one of them was a collab RP-esque work that my friend and I transferred to AO3, but like whoa...I was totally one of those 11 yr old writers in FF.Net.

omg nice... nice...... thats so good!!!!! when i was 11 i kept trying to start these ambitious novels and would give up like 3 chapters in haha.. thank god i was never on ff.net

I tried writing chaptered fics sometimes....don't even get past chapter 2...sometimes don't even reach chapter 2....

Surprisingly, those 53k came from just a cupious amount of short fics. Like, most of them didn't even reach 4k lmao

oh nice though!!!!! actually i really want to write a chaptered fic someday! like a completed one with 30k and a full story arc... if only i had more energy or more time or more talent or less writers block lol

aww man, maybe someday u.u

maybe you could do a collab with someone? it's always more fun tossing ideas with another person and it's easier to go back and forth writing a fic. it's how i wrote an 18k collab with my friend. we stopped because there was nothing else to write lmao
